Abney Wallace was born and raised in the Upstate of South Carolina. He spent his childhood exploring the quiet creeks and forests around his home, leaving no stone unturned. Longing for a more dramatic geography, he made his way to the granite mountains of Western North Carolina. Eventually, the path of the setting sun lead him and his young family to the sagebrush sea that is Central Oregon. He has spent the past two decades calling Oregon home. Abney is a printmaker, painter, installation artist, and habitual explorer. His work addresses the boundaries that define perception and ways of knowing. Ever curious, he continues to turn over every stone in his path.
