BIRD MAFIA is a Portland, Oregon based design company inspired by the intricate and unique paper cutting art form. Every Bird Mafia design begins as hand-cut paper before making it's way into our collection of accessories for you and your home. Founded in 2009, the combination of Emily's love for paper cutting and skill at her sewing machine naturally guided the two to create a business. Amid the handmade revolution in indie craft fairs and the DIY movement they discovered in young adulthood, operations began small with only a few designs and a couple of handmade products. Today they have grown their line and business to stock stores throughout Portland and the United States.
