This collaboration began as a written exchange of phrases between Christian Brown and John Hansel in early 2025. These phrases began to grow into a woozy narrative, and shortly after into drawings and musical compositions. Over the course of a few months, the two would share their works in progress, as shapes, sounds and textures emerged in a dialogue between mediums. The result is nearly 60 minutes of experimental music, composed from field recordings from the high desert on an Elektron Digitakt 2 sampler, and a limited edition cassette tape, with a 2-sided, 9 panel fold out out comic.
