Kate of Wyld Terra
At Wyld Terra, we create hand crafted beaded and gemstone jewelry which is inspired by the places on our earth that are still wild. Each piece of jewelry is slow crafted by hand, by Kate and Jordan, in our studio at The Workhouse, in Bend, OR. We pride ourselves on using only high quality materials that are ethically sourced. From the first bead, to the last piece of packaging, celebrating and supporting Mother Earth is top of mind at Wyld Terra.
When we started Wyld Terra, we wanted to start a true handmade business. We craft each piece by hand in our studio. In a world where so much is outsourced and mass produced, we wanted to create a true local, handmade business. That is why we use the wording “slow crafted.” Nothing is done fast here at Wyld Terra. We create each piece of jewelry, one bead at a time, with intention. And our hope is that we encourage consumers to purchase with intention. Buying products that are high quality, made to last, and are better for the environment. Slow, handmade businesses have the opportunity to disrupt the fast fashion industry that is polluting our Earth. Our hope is that Wyld Terra can be a part of that shift in perspective.
Kate and Jordan Schrotenboer are the owners and makers behind Wyld Terra. A slow crafted jewelry brand that connects you to the natural world. Each piece of jewelry is crafted by hand, with intention, right here in Bend, OR. Their beaded and gemstone jewelry designs honor the earth, using ethically sourced gemstones and high-quality metals, made to last. As members of 1% for the Planet, each piece of jewelry helps protect the earth that inspires it.
