Marianne Prodehl
Marianne Prodehl’s business began in a garage, with a hammer in hand. She moved into the Workhouse 5 years ago and launched Junk to Jems, turning brass cymbals into rings, metal tool boxes into earrings, and copper wire into pendants.
Marianne loves working with metal and mixing a different metals together. She is constantly learning new techniques and styles - working with mentors as well as helping new jewelers learn the craft. Her love of rocks and special stones is apparent in her vast array of one-of-a-kind rings.
Long-time Bend resident, Marianne spends as much time outside as she spends in her studio (which is a LOT). Nature has a significant influence on her work, leading her to create organic, flowing forms.
